Career and Technical Student Organizations (CTSO's) are student leadership organizations for students enrolled in Career and Technical Education programs. Each CTSO focuses on a different area of CTE. CTSO's provide leadership skill development opportunities, career planning information, service opportunities, and competitive events to demonstrate their technical and leadership skills. They are the preferred method for CTE programs to address the Leadership requirement and Core Leadership Standards in their program. In Washington State their are 7 recognized Career and Technical Student Organization.
